I'm a graphic designer based in the Pacific Northwest, drawing inspiration from nature, my past experiences as a chef, and the contemporary world around me. I thrive on creativity and enjoy engaging with others in collaborative endeavors.
As a talkative and communicative individual, I'm accustomed to working in environments where clear communication and strong interpersonal relationships are essential. I value getting along with coworkers and understand the importance of professionalism in various settings and scenarios.
Flexible in my approach, I’m comfortable working both in-person and remotely. At my core, I’m a storyteller who appreciates a good yarn and enjoys crafting meaningful narratives through my work.

Abbott Valley Homestead

Branding, Motion

Rebranding Abbott Valley Homestead offered the chance to bring a timeless family property into a more contemporary visual space. The goal was to preserve the character and charm of the original 1910 homestead while creating a brand system flexible enough to grow with the business. The color palette draws from tones naturally found around the property—earthy, grounded, and familiar. The use of simple geometric shapes references the rustic textures and structures of the original homestead, helping to bridge past and present. The new logo, a custom word mark, takes inspiration from traditional cattle brands, subtly nodding to the property’s agricultural roots while presenting a clean, modern identity. For this project I used Adobe Illustrator, After Effects and Photoshop.

Pretzel Dogs

Branding, Motion, Photography

My background as a chef informs my creativity and enhances my ability to thoughtfully develop food and beverage brands. I approach each project by considering the full customer experience—how the brand is seen, interacted with, and ultimately delivered. These are the aspects of design I find most engaging. This project allowed me to merge two core interests: culinary arts and visual design. For Pretzel Dogs, I developed a logo that is bold, approachable, and conceptually clear. It draws from the long form of a wiener dog and the distinctive twist of a pretzel—two elements that, when combined, form a strong visual identity for the brand. The result is a logo that communicates the product in a direct and memorable way. For this project I used Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects.

Back of the House (B.O.H.)

Publication, Layout, Photography, Storytelling, Illustration, Craft

By combining my past career in professional kitchens with my new career in design, I created this book. Within its pages are descriptions, stories, and articles that influenced me over the decades. This book is conceptual. It doesn’t adhere to one particular layout. Each page or spread contributes to the chaos that is a professional kitchen—some pages rely on materials found in kitchens, others on graphics and photography. In B.O.H., I break down the various roles and positions, as well as the places within the professional kitchen. As the reader turns the pages, they’re confronted by various inserts—some with images, others with personal stories from my career. The packaging for the book emulates delivery food: a to-go box that comes in a bag I screen printed with a cut-finger motif that’s also used throughout the book.

House of Vintage Re-Brand

Collaboration, Communication, Photo editing, Social Media

The House of Vintage (HOV) rebrand was a school assignment that my teammate, Adrian Cintas, and I completed in 2023 for our Brand Lab class taught by Cielle Charron. The purpose was to renew the look and feel of the brand by communicating more clearly what the business is about and how it may potentially better appeal to its target audience. This process included research, creating logos and brand assets, pitching our work in a formal presentation, and organizing everything into a brand book. While it was an option to work individually, I chose to perform this project with Adrian. I enjoy working within a team, and I anticipate joining more teams in my future career. In my opinion, working in a team lessens the burden, provides additional checks for errors or mistakes, and is simply more enjoyable. Sharing the effort feels better, and celebrating success with someone else is more fulfilling than celebrating alone.
