Temple Cacao
Branding, Craft, Process
Just a look into my process and how I come to a solution.
Temple Cacao Is a chocolate bar brand and packaging project that I did for my sophomore portfolio review at Portland State University. Being a chocolate addict and someone with a culinary back ground, this is something that I've always wanted to do.
Starting with brainstorming to figure out the name. Having been a chef that enjoys chocolate, history and Mexico, this was a great place to start. Thumbnailing, type explorations, color explorations, and trying a couple different ideas. Being someone that enjoys getting the cutting mat out and handling materials I decided that I wanted to make the mock-up rather than rely on digital alternatives.

Branding, packaging, craft
Temple Cacao is a chocolate brand and packaging project that I completed for my sophomore portfolio review at Portland State University. At the time, I was experimenting with making my own chocolate—grinding cocoa beans, blending them with cocoa butter and sugar to create my own chocolate bars. This was something I had always wanted to do, and to be honest, there was a time in my life when I thought this would be the next step in my culinary career. However, it ultimately evolved into this branding project.
