I've been working in kitchens since I was 13. It's been part of my life, part of my identity for a long time. I didn't just leave the kitchen, I also left the people. Back of the House (B.O.H.) is my way of packaging up my time spent in kitchens and putting it on the shelf. B.O.H. is a book about the kitchen subculture, the people and the place they exist in. Combining my past career in professional kitchens with my new career in design I created this book. Within it's pages are descriptions, stories and articles that influenced me over the decades.

This book is conceptual, it doesn't adhere to one particular layout. Each page or spread contributes to the chaos that is a professional kitchen. Some pages relying on materials found in kitchens, other pages it's about graphics and photography.
