Given limited information our brains instinctively attempt to make order for what we see. For this book concept I relied on Gestalt's theory of closure as a mechanism for story telling using figures that I felt were common enough that the average person could identify. After conducting research about the minimal amount of figures needed for someone to identify an object I set out creating the story. The background imagery is kept as an intact illustration so the viewer doesn't get lost.

Mexico has always held a special place in my heart—especially its natural landscapes. Having lived and worked in and around Baja California Sur (B.C.S.), I was inspired to create this project as both a tribute to a place I love and a reflection of a meaningful time in my life.
FMCN is a branding concept for a Mexican non-profit dedicated to environmental conservation. The project included logo development, pamphlet design, and merchandise such as posters and apparel. The illustrations reference specific regions overseen by the fund, bringing attention to the diverse ecosystems they protect.
The color palette was chosen to evoke urgency and action, drawing from the visual language of historical protest posters. The goal was to make FMCN’s mission visible and compelling in both public and personal spaces.
